About The Oak Hill Company
The Oak Hill Company, Ltd. was founded late in 1996 to develop and market patented environmental technologies. The current list of products represented includes:
- the HIFLO™ vacuum sewerage system for wastewater collection, combined sewer separation, and industrial source separation;
- ISSZT -- in-situ saturated zone technologies for contaminated site containment and remediation;
- NoMound® onsite wastewater treatment and disposal systems; and
- NoMound®SW for shallow water table stormwater management.
About the Principal
Alan F. Hassett, P.E. is the President and founder of The Oak Hill Company.
Mr. Hassett has been in the civil and environmental engineering and construction business for more than 25 years. From 1970-1996, he was an engineer, manager, officer and director for two nationally-recognized consulting engineering and construction firms. Also, in a part-time capacity, he served for two years as the President of a multi-man regional sales agency representing manufacturers of electrical T&D equipment.
He has a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a M.S. in Environmental Engineering and a MBA. He is a Professional Engineer licensed to practice in 25 states and a Diplomate of the American Academy of Environmental Engineers. During his career, he has been in-charge of the design phase for facilities with a total construction cost in excess of $200 million; and, two of these projects received national awards for engineering excellence from AAEE and ACEC.
